Microblading is a revolutionary form of cosmetic tattooing. Fine hair strokes are created by depositing pigment into the skin with a manual handheld tool.
Microblading is designed to blend with your natural brow hair, the more hair you have the more realistic your results will be. If you have very little or sparse eyebrow hair, results will appear more 2d, and it is possible that you may need more than two sessions to achieve your desired result.
Microblading is not intended to replace eyebrow makeup. If you are used to a bold, makeup eyebrow, then you may still want to fill them in.
Microblading gives you the ability to build on it and make it bold when you want, but on the days when you don’t have makeup on, you will feel like you have a nice, structured brow that compliments your natural features.
When you book your appointment , you will be prompted to fill out your pre-appointment paperwork. This must be done prior to your appointment.
At your appointment I will take before photos of your eyebrows. Then I will apply a topical lidocaine to numb your eyebrows. This will sit on your skin while we talk about your eyebrows. We will discuss size, shape, color, what you like and dislike about your brows..etc. Once I remove the numbing cream, I will begin to map out and shape your eyebrows. I will shape them and follow the natural shape you have without going far out of your natural brow. If you don't have much hair or none at all, then I will shape them to best match your features and brow bone.
I will show you the shape and color I recommend for you and then request any feedback you may have. This is 100% your decision. I will not begin the service until I know that we both 100% agree to shape and color. I want my clients to feel completely empowered but please also respect that I would never tattoo something that I personally didn’t like either. You will be a walking billboard for me and its important to me that you look your best.
At this point, if you decide to not go through with the service for any reason, you will not owe the balance, but you will forfeit your $100 booking fee.
At the end of the service we will go over aftercare, take after photos, schedule your touch up, and collect the balance owed.
Please avoid alcohol, caffeine (foregoing coffee may be very hard for some, I understand but if you bleed during your procedure, you are wasting your money), aspirin, niacin, ibuprofen, or any blood thinners for 24 hours prior to your procedure.
I recommend waiting at least 6 weeks to get microblading done if you have received botox injections.
Avoid vitamin e and fish oil for at least 24 hours prior to your procedure.
Discontinue vitamin a/retinol/glycolic acid/lactic acid/salicylic acid and any exfoliating or skin regenerating products two weeks prior to microblading procedure.
Any brow shaping using waxing or tinting should be performed at least 72 hours before the procedure.
Exfoliating treatments such as microdermabrasion should not be performed within 2 weeks prior to procedure.
Must be off of accutane for at least 1 year prior to microblading procedure.
Please note: if your brow structure is extremely uneven, botox may be recommended prior to booking with me.
I will send you home with instructions and ointment.
During the first few days, the color may look warmer or more intense. Eyebrows can look up to 20% darker and 10% thicker during the first 3-5 days of healing.
Day 4-5 you may experience itching, peeling or flaking skin, do not pick or pull on it. Loss of pigment and change in intensity of color.
Day 10-14 your eyebrows may look like they have lightened too much, this is completely normal, and the color will start to reappear after 2 weeks. Once the brows are fully healed (around 30 days), you may find that a few strokes have lightened too much or disapeered. During your follow up appointment I will assess how you healed and make any necessary adjustments to the shape and color.
During the healing process you must avoid:
Brow makeup, face wash, face lotion, etc. On and around your eyebrows.
Sweating of any kind.
Harsh cleansers on or near your brows.
Bath towels, tissues, or wash cloths on your face.
Harsh scrubbing.
Long, hot, steamy showers
Direct contact with the shower head.
Swimming, pools, jacuzzis, saunas.
Sleeping on your side
Sun
Dust/dirt/gardening
Pain tolerance varies from person to person. I use two different topical numbing agents to ensure our clients remain comfortable during the entire procedure. These topicals contain 5% lidocaine and epinephrine. The procedure might be slightly uncomfortable but not unbearable. If you are someone with a very low pain tolerance, this procedure may not be for you. Although, 99% of my clients would say it is mostly painless and I personally think the sound is more annoying than the pain.
I recommend “color refresher” touchups every 18months - 3 years depending on the color of your eyebrows. Darker colors last longer than lighter colors.
Some factors that will affect how you retain pigment are:
Sun exposure
Oily skin
Lighter pigment colors (blondes, redheads, and light brown)
Skincare/exfoliants (retinol, retin a, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, aha, vitamin a)
Chemical peels
Once your cosmetic tattoo is fully healed, I recommend using a daily mineral facial sunscreen to protect from harsh uv rays. If you are going to be out in the sun for a long period of time then we recommend wearing a hat and sunglasses to protect your cosmetic tattoo.
Please note that every person heals and retains pigment differently and final results cannot be guaranteed.
Most client’s cosmetic tattoos will fade and soften over time while remaining true to the original tone. However, there are cases where colors can shift over time due to a client’s lifestyle, such as iron deficiencies, sun exposure, skincare regimen, etc. During your follow up appointment, I will analyze the original pigment used and make any necessary adjustments to help give you the best long lasting result.
Its important to remember that all pigments are made of primary colors. The base color of the pigment may show over time. This is why color refreshers are recommended every 2-3 years.
As a safety precaution, we do not do chemical peels or cosmetic tattoo on pregnant or nursing mothers.
If you have booked an appointment and then found out you are pregnant, I will hold your booking fee so you can reschedule or apply it to another service for you.

Do they contain nickel? Permablend which I use does not.
Does permablend pigments contain iron oxides? Some do.
Iron oxides are non-toxic, non-allergenic, and generally well-tolerated by those with sensitive skin. They also have superior lightfastness which keeps them from fading and makes them great for permanent makeup. All of our pigments— whether organic or inorganic— undergo rigorous third-party safety and quality analysis to ensure the best results for you and your clients. So there's no need to worry.
Basically, a chemical peel involves resurfacing the skin to reveal smoother, blemish-free skin. It requires the use of a chemical that is applied to the skin so that the top layers peel off.
Different types of chemicals can be used, depending on the person’s skin sensitivity. Some chemicals that can be used include retinoic acid, glycolic acid, , salicylic acid, or lactic acid.
While the thought of applying acid to your face and peeling off the skin might sound a bit scary, it’s really not. Sure, the effects might be a bit uncomfortable for a short period of time, but the results can be amazing.
Chemical peels are not just reserved for the face, either. They can also be done on the neck, chest, and hands, too. People who opt to have a chemical peel done can expect any one of these amazing benefits:
Truly, the difference between a chemical peel before and after can be astounding and well worth the time and money spent.
chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure. Depending on the issues we are addressing with the procedure, I will choose a chemical peel best suited for you. As a CA esthetician, I can only perform a
A light (superficial) chemical peel, which removes the outer layer of skin (epidermis). It's used to treat fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness. You might have a light peel every two to five weeks. There are different variations and levels of light chemical peels. Most you will need to condition your skin and work up to.
To help alleviate any concerns you might have about the chemical peel procedure, it’s best to get familiar with it before the treatment actually takes place.
You’ll be lying face-up during the procedure, which should last no more than an hour to complete. The technician will then gently apply the chemical to your face or other areas that you want.
When the chemical of choice is applied to your skin, you can expect to experience the following sensations:
TINGLING- The chemical applied will probably cause you to feel a little bit of tingling and itching, which are totally normal. But anything that feels painful should be communicated to the technician.
HEAT OR COLD- After the peel is applied, you might notice the temperature of your skin starts to change slightly, in either direction. Some people say their skin feels a little warmer, while other say their skin feels a little cooler.
Either one of these is normal and just depends on the person.
TAUT SKIN- Chemical peels help to extract any impurities in the skin. But while that happens, you might feel a sensation of tightness, which is also normal as long as it’s not excessive.
Pain tolerance varies from person to person, to me some peels feel like nothing and the most intense is like jalapeno fingers touched my face. I do give you a fan and try to make you as comfortable as possible. The sensations simmer down before you leave.
Perhaps the most noticeable symptom that you’ll experience is peeling on your face. That’s the whole point of a chemical peel: to “peel” old skin to reveal healthier skin beneath.
You can expect your skin to peel after about the third day, not right away. It will continue to peel over the first week following the procedure. Stronger peels like TCA can take as much as 10 days to finish peeling.
Slightly increased skin sensitivity- Your skin shouldn’t feel too weird after the procedure, but you’ll still be a little sensitive for a few days. You’ll also notice that your skin will be a bit more sensitive to some of your skin care products when you apply them.
As such, avoid exfoliating products for a few days. Use a gentle cleanser and a hydrating gel to soothe your skin, both I carry and sell. and steer clear of any hot water on your face and heat. stay out of the sun as much as possible and don’t forget mineral sunblock! Your new skin is very sensitive to the sun.
DONT EXFOLIATE- Since a chemical peel is an in-depth form of exfoliation, it’s important that you don’t exfoliate for at least a week or more before your appointment.
Even though you might not actively exfoliate with a scrub or exfoliant, watch out for ingredients in your every-day skin products that may have an exfoliating effect. If you use these products before your appointment, you could unknowingly cause some damage to your skin.
STOP USING ANTI AGING OR ANTI ACNE PRODUCTS the week leading up. Products like these could impact how your skin tolerates the peel. This includes your HQ and Vitamin A.
STAY HYDRATED- Your skin should be well-hydrated on the day of your chemical peel. Stop using any products that could be drying out your skin at least a few days before your appointment. And keep chugging that water.
There is a certain amount of recovery time that will be needed immediately following a chemical peel. If you’ve got a big shindig happening sometime in the next couple of weeks, wait until after to get a peel.
DO NOT GET SUNBURNT and limit your sun exposure the week leading up to your peel.
It will all depend on what we are treating. Some of my face reality peels we can do every 2 weeks. Other dermodality ones we will space out at least 4-6 weeks. Everyones results and goals are different, so I am here to help you figure that out!
